Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to dealing with pine trees and could use some advice. I’ve got a couple in my yard and lately the ground is just covered in needles. At first I thought it looked kind of natural, but now it’s getting pretty thick and I’m not sure if that’s actually good for the soil or if it’ll cause problems (like killing grass or attracting bugs?).

Do you usually leave pine needles as mulch or clean them up regularly? Trying to figure out what’s normal here before I make extra work for myself
